      Hello Laura,

I will send you some information on the program I teach at Kestrel Ridge Farm. I have had many students of a certain age that have had limitations in mobility due to injury. The common success in all of theeir progress is regaining core strength to stay over the horse’s center of gravity. Hips would need enough mobility to allow you to post the trot, as sitting trot may be too much to ask for at the beginning. I also have students who do much of the dressage work at a walk, keeping in mind the aids and principles of good dressage training.

Hope to see you in the saddle,
      Kim Cox
